Kayla represents individuals and family members in the areas of Estate Administration, Guardianships, Conservatorships, and Elder Law.  Family disputes cannot always be avoided.  However, Kayla believes her most important role as an attorney is to provide clients with information about the processes and options that they face. 

Kayla is a member of the Elder Law and Trust & Estate Sections of the Colorado Bar Association and assists on various committees within those Sections.  She was Secretary of the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association for 3 years.  Kayla is also a member of the Spanish Speaking Lawyers' Committee and Women's Estate Planning Council.  Kayla has spoken to the public and the Colorado legislature on Estate Administration and Estate Planning topics.  She volunteers with the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center and Metro Volunteer Lawyers' Power of Attorney Workshop.  Kayla brings to her practice 2 years of experience with a Colorado Public Administrator.
