Josh joined Glatstein & O’Brien in September 2025, after many years of practice in public service, most recently as staff attorney for the Colorado Office of Public Guardianship. Josh began his law career as a Legal Aid attorney where he represented many individuals and families seeking guardianship and conservatorship for their loved ones, as well as individuals wrongfully denied Medicaid and other government benefits. Before relocating to Colorado, he served as legal counsel for the Jackson County (Missouri) Public Administrator, practicing primarily in the areas of probate administration and litigation, as well as guardianship and conservatorship proceedings.
Josh currently practices in the areas of elder law, guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, probate administration and litigation, estate and trust planning, and fiduciary representation. He also advises clients on planning for incapacity and the use of special needs and discretionary trusts to preserve public benefits for incapacitated and disabled individuals. He is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association, particularly in the Elder Law section.
